The Shri Ram School Aravali is in the heart of the Hamilton Court complex in DLF
City, Phase IV. The campus is easily accessible and its simple architecture
merges with the style of the entire complex. It may be surrounded by high-rise
buildings, but its simple but imposing façade stands out and its large campus
with basketball courts, a football ground, a cricket pitch, an outdoor stage
and an amphitheatre provides a breadth of open space and greenery.
The building has two wings – the junior and senior. The rooms are large,
bright and airy and made even more cheerful by notice boards teachers and
children are particular about designing and updating. Children are encouraged
to think and discover for themselves, and express themselves boldly and
imaginatively. The academic year’s calendar consists of academic and
co-curricular activities, with issues of social and community concern such as
the environment regularly addressed.
Children:
The children come from cosmopolitan backgrounds, with a good mix of modern and
traditional values. The school stresses on developing a close partnership
between the parents and the teachers. This is done in order to help raise
children who are sensitive and caring towards the environment, the people
around them, with a high sense of integrity and pride in all that they do.
